Experience the

Barn Quilts of Saline County

A drive through scenic Saline County is sure to be full of rich beautiful farmland, lush green pastures and picturesque Barn Quilts dotting the countryside.  The Boonslick Tourism Commission has recently completed its Barn Quilt project, and now over 20 Barn Quilts are sprinkled throughout the countryside in Saline County.

We celebrate the unique agricultural experience of our region through the visual combination of barns and homemade quilts.  Barns are vital to the economic well-being of our rural communities; homemade quilts provide comfort, warmth, and beauty.  Combined,  barn quilts provide an outlet for individual artistic expression.

Take a drive and discover our tradition and history.  View the colorful barn quilts of the Boonslick region of Missouri, located throughout Saline County.
