Shopping Under The Sun Festival 2023

Shopping Under the Sun kicks off in the evening on Friday, August 4th with Sips Under the Stars, a beer garden featuring JLVOE and Dirt Road Addiction.  Come dance the night away and enjoy a beautiful evening under the stars on the Marshall Courthouse lawn.

Saturday, August 5, 2023, will be a jam packed day of events for our 7th Annual Shopping Under the Sun! 

All events will be on the Saline County Courthouse Square in beautiful downtown Marshall, MO.

Festival starts at 10:00am until 4:00pm, followed by concert

8:00am – Car Show Registration

8:00am – Chalk Walk Starts

• The Chalk Walk is FREE to participate and welcomes all ages and skill levels. 
• All participants must pre-register by August 1st for judged prizes.
• 3 prize categories per age group consisting of 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
• 1 prize awarded based on People’s Choice.

10:00am-2:00pm – Touch A Truck

• Featuring over 15 different entities and vehicles/machinery. See everything from the Nest Bus, tow truck, tractors and emergency vehicles this is a FREE event open to everyone! Touch a Truck will be located off the northwest side of the Marshall square on North St.

10:00am-4:00pm – Vendors Open

• Crafts, art, food, petting zoo, and more!

3:00pm-6:00pm – FREE concert
