Music and The Arts Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra – An all volunteer
team of musicians schedules performances throughout the year with schedules
available through the Chamber of Commerce. Marshall Community Band – A dedicated and talented group of musicians sponsoring concerts on the courthouse lawn every Thursday during the summer season - May 31through September 9 from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Marshall Community Theater – This lively group
produces two shows per year. Please check back for updated information
and show times. Slater Blues Festival –Every June, we have some
of the finest Blues in the Midwest. Playing right here in Saline County
- home to many talented musicians. Check “Calendar”

of musician, composer Bob James. One of his most notable compositions
is the theme from the long-running television show “Taxi.”
Bob has played with many music greats. His music can be found at the Vox
Box and Applebee's Restaurant has a corner dedicated to his career. Lyceum Repertory Theater in Arrow Rock – Just 30 minutes from Marshall is the Lyceum Theater. 660-837-3311 www.lyceumtheatre.org
